I have been wanting to get in to Body painting for a while but it just always seemed to be so much work and I never had enough time to do it, well I have now decided that I must make time,
I have the Mark Reid Blue Jeans DVD and have a model lined up for next Friday but I could not resist a quick practice on my leg, I know its not great but it is a start.

the weekend of the 16th and 27th of March
On Sunday 27th of March I was back in Westfield Shopping Centre, it started out slow but soon I had a queue, however at about 3pm the Wesfield Centre manager came pass and told us we could not face paint at the stand as we had not cleared it with the Centre managing office, long story but in the end had to pack up and hand around to see if the agency which contracted me could sort things out with the Centre manager. In the end I went home so didn't get many pictures from the day but I really liked the superman I did for this girls.
On Saturday 26th of March I had a great day I had two bookings and on my first one I was working for a Family project face painting at the Masbro Centre in West London a venue which I used to help my mum make carnival costumes for the Summer Play scheme project many years ago, it was really nice to be back there and it brought back many happy memories. I was working with Eva O'Brien who is a fantastic face painter and always a joy to work with.
On my second job I had to get from West London to East London trying to avoid the March which was taking place in Central London, I did eventually get to the venue on time. I was doing Balloon modeling so it was and nice and easy hour or so I thought, the children (all 4 and under) where completely out of control, the room had been decorated with a balloon arches and columns and the children where jumping on it kicking the balloons, I have never seen any thing like it before, so I was glad I was there only for one hour.

Working in Westfield Shopping Centre
I was working at Westfield Shopping centre today in West London I was working for SKY 3D promoting "RIO" the animated film, 11am to 7pm what a long day! Not much happened in the beginning but when the queue started it never stopped.
I used some of my new rainbow cakes and spit cakes which was brilliant and saved me so much time. Back there tomorrow for another long day. :-)
